The current fifth-generation Jeep Cherokee was introduced at the New York International Auto Show in 2013 and was made available for sale later that same year as a 2014 Jeep Cherokee SUV Crossover. After nearly five decades, the final Jeep Cherokee was produced at the Belvidere plant in Illinois in late February 2023, marking the end of its run.
